Photo booth – self service selling point

Workflow:
The last photos (adjustable) are continuously displayed at the top of the picture, the guest can slide this picture strip back and forth or “scroll” with the arrow keys on the touchscreen. Most of the time, however, “his” picture is already displayed appropriately.
The selection of a photo is then done with the 1st touch, the purchase of the photo with the 2nd touch, optionally the payment method can now be selected (cash or EC / credit card). In the third step, payment takes place – with 6 different types of coins (also CHF and EU mixed at a rate of 1: 1) and / or 3 different types of banknotes – the machine changes.
If you select “Cashless”, payment is made by card, including an online check.
The photo printing starts after payment and is done in 10 seconds (in the format 10 x 15 cm, otherwise up to 16 seconds). A receipt is printed out at the end of the day, which can also be sent as an email at the same time.
If the paper supply (max. 700 sheets / roll) falls below an adjustable minimum, the machine sends an exception email to the supervisor and shows a warning message on the display.
Thanks to the flexible payment system, different prices can be managed for different products; these can also be adjusted very easily during operation, for example:
- a photo print without QR code 10 x 15 cm = € 3.00
- two photo prints of the same photo = € 5.00
- a photo print with QR code 10 x 15 cm = € 3.50
- a photo print of 15 x 20 cm = 5.00 € etc.
In practical operation, maximum profits can be realized depending on the season, for example by offering only one product (and thus only one button) in the main season in order to achieve the maximum throughput, while in the off-season several products can be offered at different prices.
